This is for SURE a deserves-to-be-displayed-somewhere-prominent project. They are both easy and impressive!
MATERIALS
- Black Sharpie
- Rhinestones
- Liquid Watercolor
- Watercolor Paper (if you can! If not, use the thickest paper you have)
- Glue
DIRECTIONS
- Invite your child to draw a large triangle in the center of their paper for the tree. Triangles can be tricky for little learners so have them practice running their finger on their paper first. For our littlest friends I draw dots for the three corners of the tree and then invite them to connect the dots with their Sharpie. Add the trunk.
- Paint the tree with liquid watercolors (we used the “lime” here).
- Glue on lots and lots of rhinestones! The more the merrier.
