An inexpensive, gorgeous project! When we do this I either just get the little $4 bouquets at the grocery store OR we do this after we get flowers from school families for holidays/thank you gifts. Whenever we get flowers we display them and when they’re on their last leg we make art with them.
MATERIALS
- Flowers (we like using sturdy, white daisies)
- Stamp Pads (here’s the one we used)
- Paper
DIRECTIONS
It’s the easiest thing! Push your flower onto your stamp pad, press the petals firmly to get lots of ink, lift, then stamp onto your paper.
This is a type of “printmaking” and yields the most beautiful pieces.
