On a 1-10 of easiness this project is an easy breezy 1! The results are lovely and the unconventional medium makes the kids giggle when you share how the project works.
MATERIALS
- Paper Towels
- Liquid Watercolors
- Paint Cups
- Eye Droppers
DIRECTIONS
- Add liquid watercolors to the paint cups and add one eye dropper to each cup.
- Invite your littles to squirt paint on their paper towel and to observe colors made! I like using red, yellow, and blue (the primary colors) as when two touch each other on the paper towel they make a secondary color!
- If you layer two paper towels on top of one another then you will have to pieces of art when you’re done by just pulling them apart. That’s a fun thing to try at least once!
- 99% of the times when we use liquid watercolors we do not dilute them, but this day we did simply because the kids love this and go through a LOT.
