I used dough measurements from Busy Toddler because she’s a genius.

  • ½ cup applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons Elmer’s glue
  • A little more than 1/4 cup cinnamon
  • Cookie cutters
  • Rolling pin
  • Mixing bowl

How to make applesauce and cinnamon Christmas ornaments

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine applesauce, cinnamon, and glue until a dough forms.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon on a flat surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Make a small hole at the top of each shape using a straw or skewer for threading ribbon later.
  5. Let your ornaments dry for 24-48 hours, flipping halfway through.
  6. Once dry, thread ribbon or twine through the hole and hang your beautiful creations.
