Introducing the Halloween Holidoodles giant coloring poster!

I had the vision for this in my head for months before bringing it to life.

“Halloween! Doodles! I’m going to put them together!”

The name Holidoodles comes from “holi-” because we’re going to make eight total holidays in the collection, and “-doodles” because…doodles. 😂

This poster is a party-in-a-roll.

It’s absolutely filled to the brim with cheerful Halloween doodles that kids and adults will love just the same.

Spread it out and watch kids collaborate, share colors, and fill the page with Halloween fun.

It’s the ultimate centerpiece for a playdate or classroom because there’s room for many hands at once.

Think of it as a giant coloring page that doubles as instant décor.

Angled close-up of the poster on a table showing dense black outlines of ghosts with round eyes, candy shapes, striped hats, spiderwebs, stars, and a visible Friends Art Lab logo and color-by-number key box in the lower corner; many shapes are colored in orange, yellow, green, purple, pink, and blue.

Halloween Holidoodles come with two styles to choose from

This is one of the most exciting parts!

The Halloween Holidoodles (and all of the other themed Holidoodles that will come down the line) have two styles to choose from:

  • Classic Outlines: Halloween shapes filled with doodles, connected with even more doodles in the background
  • Color-By-Number: The exact same design as “classic outlines” but this version has a color by number code. All of the Halloween doodle shapes have easy-to-spot grey numbers that match up with a color code printed directly onto the poster (ex: 1=red, 2=orange, etc.).

You can pick what style will suit your family, classroom, and artists the best!

🎃 The Halloween Holidoodles is the very first in the Holidoodles line, but we have our OG giant coloring posters, too!

  • + so, so many more!

Learning with the Halloween Holidoodles giant coloring poster

One of the reasons why Holidoodles are so close to my heart is because they combine two of my greatest loves: creativity and teaching.

While kids are coloring, they’re learning so, so much during each and every moment.

Vocabulary blooms as kids chat about icons, shapes, and color words.

Fine-motor muscles get a joyful workout with long strokes, tiny details, and color placement.

Social-emotional skills show up in sharing markers, taking turns, and celebrating one another’s choices.

Math sneaks in with counting stars, patterning candy pieces, and comparing big vs. small images.

How to use Holidoodles at parties: Decorate as you create

Hang the work-in-progress behind a snack table so the art is the backdrop.

Throughout your party, kids can head over to the Holidoodle to color on their own. It’s perfect for kids

Finish the night by signing names and snapping a photo with your masterpiece.

It’s an instant memory, instant décor, and one spooktacular giant coloring page!

Conversation starters for Halloween Holidoodles giant coloring poster

There are SO MANY delightful conversations that can come when coloring the Halloween Holidoodles together.

“What colors make your pumpkin feel friendly or spooky?”
“Which doodle looks symmetrical and how can you tell?”
“If this bat could talk, what would it say?”
“Where do you notice patterns repeating on the page?”
