What is an Easter egg coloring banner?

It’s. Your. New. Favorite. Thing.

In 2020, we debuted our hand-drawn, larger-than-life, 10-foot giant coloring banners, and they’re the best thing since sliced bread. (Even better than freshly baked, warm sourdough bread – they’re that good).

The giant Easter egg coloring banner is an enormous coloring page with big, bold lines and darling designs just waiting to be colored in.

Just roll it out, color it with any of your favorite art supplies, and in seconds, you have the cutest Easter activity ready for hours of fun.

How to use an Easter egg coloring banner

My very favorite thing about our giant coloring banners is their versatility.

There are so many new, exciting ways to use one of these enormous art pieces.

  • Give as a gift: A giant coloring banner is such a unique gift. When gift-giving, instead of adding to toy clutter, a giant coloring banner is an engaging, hands-on activity for children and adults of all ages.
  • Use in the classroom: Initially designed for our preschool classroom, these are perfect for inviting the whole class to work on something beautiful together.
  • Use as a tablecloth: Many families use the banners as interactive tablecloths during mealtimes. Because they’re so large, they’ll last for many meals, leading to lots of meaningful, quality family time.
  • Bring them indoors or outdoors: No matter the weather, it’s the perfect day for a giant coloring banner. These can be used indoors or outdoors, on the floor, on a table, or even on a wall.
  • Save it for wrapping paper: Don’t throw it away when you’re done! Instead, save it for the cutest wrapping paper.

The cutest addition to your Easter egg hunt traditions

On Easter morning after your child finds their Easter eggs, invite them to keep the egg fun going!

As they play with their eggs, they can use their creativity to add splashes of colors to the adorable eggs on the Easter egg coloring banner.

On the banner, they’ll find the cutest eggs in the land and get to color in chicks, a sneaky Easter bunny, jelly beans, flowers, grass, and more.

Why we love giant coloring banners

My favorite thing to do as a child was color in coloring pages. Turning something black and white into a colorful, creative masterpiece made my heart burst with joy.

Once I became a preschool teacher, I immediately noticed how many of my students responded to coloring in the same way.

One day, I started making giant coloring banners for my preschoolers, and it was love at first sight. It was electric. They were obsessed.

I started sharing them online, and thousands of people excitedly lost their minds and asked for one for their own homes and classrooms.

Miss Michelle eventually took one of my hand-drawn banners, brought it to a commercial print shop, and as they say – the rest is history.

Once your kids get their first one, you’ll see the magic in the air. Check out some of our other themes including:
