Our Halloween coloring pages for kids are fa-boo-lous

We are big, big fans of coloring pages big and small.

Kids using their favorite art materials to add color and give life to fun outlines is simply the best.

As a super duper bonus, all of our coloring pages are hand-drawn, making them extra cute, extra appealing, and extra perfect for young artists.

Related: We have a huge collection of hand-drawn coloring pages that kids LOVE.

Whether you’re using them for classroom centers, after-school fun, Halloween parties, morning invitations, playdate activities, or anything in between, kids of all ages love them.

Fun ways to use Halloween coloring pages

Coloring pages can be used in many fun, creative, open-ended ways!

We love trying these ideas:

Preschool centers: Halloween coloring pages are a delightful addition to your art or fine motor centers in the classroom. Add various drawing or painting supplies, and your kids will have the time of their lives.

On a vertical surface: There are tremendous benefits to working on vertical surfaces, and coloring pages are perfect for this. Instead of setting papers on a table for kids to color on, tape some to a wall or window for fantastic motor practice.

Cutting practice: Once a design is colored in, invite your child to use scissors to cut it out for extra fine motor practice.

Gorgeous gallery: On a designated wall, hang up the collection of masterpieces for a “gorgeous gallery” of Halloween art.

What type of paper should these be printed on?

Whatever paper you have.

Usually, I print on regular copy paper, sometimes I print on cardstock, and occasionally I print on watercolor paper.

The paper you have on hand is the best paper to use.

A hand colors in the outline of a smiling bat with a teal marker.

Coloring pages are fantastic learning tools

When kids are coloring in coloring pages, they’re practicing

  • Concentration
  • Naming shapes
  • Mixing colors
  • Focus
  • Spatial awareness
  • Vocabulary
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Fine motor skills
  • Names of colors
  • And more!

Your kids will go “batty” for Halloween coloring pages

We have used them with kids and adults of all ages, and they’re always a blast.

The best part is you can save the downloads and use them year after year after year, too.

Have fun!

A child stands beside a window placing a yellow tissue paper square onto the orange and yellow side of a large tissue paper rainbow craft. The rainbow is mostly filled with overlapping tissue paper squares in bright rainbow colors, and both cloud shapes at the bottom are covered with layered white squares. The contact paper sheet is taped to the glass with blue painter’s tape, and the outdoor fence, hedge, red flower decoration, and concrete patio are visible through the window.

Two children stand on a striped outdoor rug in front of a large glass sliding door covered in thick, colorful paint strokes. One child in a red sweatshirt paints the lower middle area of the window with an orange-handled brush, while another child in a blue sweatshirt paints nearby with a pink-handled brush. The glass is filled with layered blue, pink, purple, green, and orange paint in swirls, loops, and drips. A white paint tray with several bright paint colors and brushes sits on the rug below the window. This washable window paint activity photo shows the window mostly filled with bold paint marks from top to bottom.
