Crayola Education Watercolors
These are the best watercolors on the market. They’re vibrant, colorful, creamy, and absolutely gorgeous. They’re an outside-of-the-box art supply for coloring pages AND other art, landing them at my number one favorite art supply for kids.
Oil Pastels
Oil pastels + watercolors = *chef’s kiss* Oil pastels are kind of like crayons, but they’re bolder, thicker, creamier, and give off waaay more color. Drawing with these then painting over with watercolors is gorgeous.
The Best Set of Markers
Crayola markers are the best, and this GIANT set of 40 (!!!) markers is one of my most loved, most used, most repurchased art supplies. The colors you get in this set are simply nothing short of fabulous (and the color Kiwi is drool-worthy).

Tempera Cakes
Tempera cakes are like watercolors…but they’re giant! These will last forever giving you big bang for your buck. You use them exactly the same way as watercolors and kids will be dazzled by their size.
Watercolor Crayons
You are in for a TREAT! First, you use these just like you would crayons and color in your picture. Then, you go over with a paintbrush dipped in water and your drawing transforms into a watercolor painting right before your eyes.
Thin Tempera Sticks
Tempera sticks are one of the coolest art supplies ever, but they’re normally wide and chunky and too large for coloring pages. This special size of narrow tempera sticks makes them ideal for coloring pages. If you haven’t used these before – just imagine drawing with lipstick.
